Procyon Wildlife of Beeton will be holding their third annual Walk for Wildlife Sept. 20.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. at Palgrave Forest, a protected wilderness area on the Finnerty Sideroad, just west of Regional Road 50.
Walkers will enter the forest and follow their chosen trails on a fun-filled scavenger hunt, eventually returning to the main registration area.
A buffet lunch is included and will follow at noon at the Caledon Estates Banquet Hall (southeast corner of Highway 9 and Regional Road 50).
There will be a silent auction at the luncheon and prizes for the top fundraiser, as well as the annual Westjet raffle draw.
A minimum pledge of $50 per adult and $20 per child is required. Pledge forms are available by emailing lindytotty@rogers.com or by calling 905-406-0201. Tax receipts will be provided for individual donations more than $20.
