Students charged after prank

July 27, 2016   ·   0 Comments

Two students are facing charges after what Caledon OPP are calling a prank at a local high school.
Police report they were called to the school May 30 after two students had apparently gone into a stairwell and released a noxious substance. This act resulted in damage to school property and the building had to be evacuated.
Caledon Fire and Emergency Services also responded.
The youths were charged with mischief under $5,000.
Police are reminding students that as the end of the school year approaches, they should still behave responsibly. Schools are not only a place for learning and development, but also an environment where all individuals should feel safe from harm and danger.
