On September 19, the Caledon Seniors Centre is partnering with Caledon Meals on Wheels, the Town of Caledon and Genwell for a free community event called, Having Fun Never Gets Old – Connecting People, Strengthening Community.
The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 18297 Hurontario Street, and will feature fun and games, an exercise demonstration, a barbecue lunch, and entertainment.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will still take place, but it will be relocated to the Caledon Village Place.
The aim for this event it to get more people involved and bring more awareness to Caledon Seniors’ Centre and Caledon Meals on Wheels.
The Caledon Seniors’ Centre also wants to bring awareness to their underutilized facilities and focus on their six satellite locations, in addition to the one located in Bolton.
The following is the schedule for the event.
11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. – Fun & Games
11:30 a.m. – Exercise Demonstration
12:30 p.m. – BBQ Lunch
1:00–2:30 p.m. – Entertainment
For catering purposes, attendees and interested participants are asked to RSVP, however drop-ins are welcome to all.
