Caledon Chamber Concerts will soon host its first concert of 2024.

At 7:30 p.m. on January 19, the Rose Chamber Orchestra will be performing at St. James Anglican Church (6025 Old Church Road).

The title of their show is “Brahms Serenade” as the orchestra will be performing works from Johannes Brahms, as well as a chamber orchestra setting of the first three of Antonin Dvorak’s “Legends”.

The Rose Chamber Orchestra includes leading musicians from the Rose Orchestra.

The Rose Orchestra was formed in February 2012 and is dedicated to providing high quality live entertainment founded on the principle of performing music that appeals to a wide variety of musical tastes.

The Rose Chamber Orchestra (stylized as ROSEchamberORCHESTRA) formed during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic when outdoor concerts were resuming, and when concert halls were permitting smaller ensembles to broadcast concerts, eventually allowing them to perform to reduced-size audiences.

The group continues to perform a wide variety of original and reduced orchestrations to this day, and are excited for their upcoming performance.

Tickets to the show are $40 per person or free for those ages 18 and younger.

Tickets can be purchased with cash at the door or by e-transfer to gordonmorton@gmail.com.

Purchasers are asked to use “ROSE” in their e-transfer message.
