Learn about history of local firefighting at history talk

The history of firefighting in Caledon will be the topic of the next meeting of the Caledon East and District Historical Society this coming Wednesday (April 30).
The speaker will be Diane Allengame, author of Answering the Call, and she will review the days of the bucket brigade to the creation of Caledon Fire and Emergency Services.
The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. at St. James’ Anglican Church The fee will be $5 for visitors and members will get in free.
