HomeJames needs help for New Year’s Eve

December 23, 2015   ·   0 Comments

With about a week to go, HomeJames is coming up a little short in the way of volunteers for New Year’s Eve.
So organizers are planning a non-alcoholic party that night for the volunteers, before they get down to the serious business of getting people home safe.
It will be at Humber River Hall (the former Royal Canadian Legion hall) on Ann Street in Bolton. Doors will open at 8:30 p.m., with food being served by 9.
Dinner will come from the neighbours at the Four Corners Bakery. Door prizes will include $100 dollar gift cards from Garden Foods, oil changes and tire rotations from Active Green and Ross and Jiffy Lube, dining certificates from The Consulate and Symposium, a gift package from Home Depot and more.
HomeJames is a service for people who might have had too much to drink during holiday festivities. They can call 905-951-9000, and a team of three will be dispatched in a shuttle vehicle to drive the client’s car and get everyone home, free of charge.
The service needs another 36 people to make everything work New year’s Eve. Those who can help can email to homejamescaledon@gmail.com
