Mayfield Secondary School Grace Turner This 16-year-old is a doubles tennis player who recently won the qualifying tournament to advance to ROPSSAA this week. She’s also planning to go out for the nordic skiing at school this year. Away from school, she plays tennis at the Orangeville Racquet Club and skis at Caledon Ski Club. The Grade 11 student lives in Inglewood with her parents Sheena Smith and Jeff Turner.

Hall Catholic Secondary School Aidan Balzan This Grade 12 student has been showing his stuff as a corner and kick-return specialist with the varsity football team, which has opened the season with a 3-2 record. He’s run one punt for a touchdown. He’s also planning to play soccer in the spring. In the community, he plays in the Caledon Soccer Club organization. The 16-year-old lives in Caledon East with his parents Tony and Moire Balzan.

St. Michael Catholic Secondary School Aidan Wilkie This 15-year-old plays power for the junior boys’ volleyball team, which won their first four matches of the season and have made the payoffs. He’s thinking of going out for track in the spring, focusing on the 800 metres. In the community, he used to play house league hockey, but gave it up when he became too busy. The Grade 10 student lives in Bolton with his parents Colin and Heather Wilkie.
