Bolton retirement residence hosting first annual winter market

Local businesses and entrepreneurs will have a chance to showcase their goods and services at an upcoming winter market hosted by a retirement residence in Bolton.

Sorrento Retirement Residence, which is located at 10 Station Road, is hosting a winter market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on January 30.

Tasty treats, beautiful jewelry, health and wellness products and more will all be on sale from local vendors. There will be businesses that have storefronts in Downtown Bolton there, such as Bake Shoppe and Jus Jus, as well as entrepreneurs.

Kelly Moszynski, who works at Sorrento, explained that in total there will be 16 vendors at the market.

“The whole idea behind it is just to allow our community as well as our residents to get to know all of the available services and shops around Caledon,” said Moszynski, noting that Valentine’s Day is upcoming and the market could be a good chance to get some shopping done.

This isn’t the first time Sorrento has hosted a vendor market, as they had a health and wellness exhibit last summer.

Sorrento Retirement Residence plans to make their winter market an annual event.
