Alton Grange Association will hear about wildlife

April 24, 2013   ·   0 Comments

The Alton Grange Association will host its annual meeting at the Alton Legion May 2.
This year’s meeting will include a presentation by Laura Gallagher from Speaking of Wildlife, the outreach program of the Muskoka Wildlife Centre. Speaking of Wildlife’s presentations feature a close encounter with some of Ontario’s wild creatures and are designed to give the audience a better appreciation of the wildlife around them.
Gallagher will be bringing five mystery critters from Ontario’s natural environment. She will talk about each of these species and how it came to be at the Centre.
People planning to attend are encouraged to bring cameras, while they take in a fun evening and learn about these magnificent creatures.
Representatives from the Credit Valley Conservation Authority, Ministry of Natural Resources and other guest exhibitors will be attending with information and displays about their organizations.
