There are going to be some stories of war time told at the next meeting of the Caledon East and District Historical Society.
Bolton resident Doris Porter will present a talk entitled Humourous Adventures of a Member of the Canadian Women’s Army Corps in WWII.
It will be Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at St. James’ Anglican Church in Caledon East.
Porter joined the Corps when she was 18. She will relate stories about her training in Quebec prior to her posting overseas.
