Neil Anderson of Cheltenham was flying the SE 5A (left) while Mike Smith of Milton was at the controls of the Fokker DRI, as they re-enacted the shooting down of the Red Baron (Manfred von Richthofen). There is debate as to whether the Baron was shot down from the air or ground. One of the theories is his assailant was Canadian Captain Roy Brown. There were also men fring from the ground, representing the re-enactment of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.
