World Day of Prayer was celebrated in Caledon

Streams in the Desert was the theme of this year’s World Day of Prayer Service. One of the local services, involving local churches, was held at Caledon East United Church. Those taking part included Betty Ward, Anne Kozluk, Dorothy Phillips, Helen Devins, Deanna Bootle, Jo-Anne Smith, Cheryl Smith, Flo Coffey, Robin Holder and Rev. Warren Ball.

Those taking part included Betty Ward, Anne Kozluk, Dorothy Phillips, Helen Devins, Deanna Bootle, Jo-Anne Smith, Cheryl Smith, Flo Coffey, Robin Holder and Rev. Warren Ball.

Services were held Friday in recognition of World Day of Prayer. This year’s service was composed by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Egypt. The Bolton service was held at Caven Presbyterian Church and involved participants from Holy Family Catholic Church, Bolton United Church, Christ Church Anglican and Palgrave United Church. Those taking part included (seated) Doris Porter, Molly Jakeman, (standing) Ann Green, Marg Boughen, Lenore Gibson, Rita Rynn, Isabelle Bottoms and Rev. Jeremy Louther.
