Woman arrested after accident

A 50-year-old Caledon woman was charged after an April 30 accident on Airport Road.
Caledon OPP reports they got a call from a concerned citizen at about 9:30 p.m. about a possible impaired driver who had been involved in single-vehicle collision. An investigating revealed that the northbound driver had entered a ditch.
On arrival, officers found the vehicle unattended, but they located the driver on the porch of a private residence close to the scene. Upon speaking with the driver, officers detected a strong odour of alcohol on her breath and she demonstrated other signs of impairment.
The woman was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
