After four games this season, the Robert F. Hall Wolfpack football team is undefeated.
The squad won their home opener 8-0 over Cardinal Ambrozic Oct. 8, then followed up with a 31-6 win over Sandalwood Heights Secondary School last week.
The game was heavily defensive on both sides in the early going. Hall running back Curtis Fillier carried for several gains and scored the first touchdown.
Sandalwood responded with a TD on a kick off return to light up their side of the scoreboard.
The Wolfpack took a lead when quarterback Jake Smith went for the throw and found tight end Connor Reiners with a 40 yard pass. Reiners crossed the goal to score.
At the half the Wolfpack were leading 24-6 after Reiners ran for a touchdown followed by a field goal from Gabe Siemienic.
With a wide gap in the score, the Wolfpack gave the rookies a chance to get out on the fire. A Sandalwood punt was returned for a touchdown by Tevin Bowen in the third quarter to give Hall a 24-point lead.
The Wolfpack were to return to their home field yesterday (Wednesday) to host the David Suzuki Grizzlies (results not known at press time).
