Town lowers flags in honour of fallen sergeant

The Town of Caledon will fly the flags at all Town facilities at half-mast in honour of Sgt. Andrew Joseph Doiron, who died serving with the Canadian forces in Iraq.
Doiron was shot and killed Friday in a nighttime shooting as his Special Forces unit was returning to an observation post.
The Town extends sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues on this tragic loss.
The flags will remain lowered until sunset the day of the funeral.
