Town holds Remembrance Day service

Those who served and sacrificed in Canada’s military actions were remembered Friday at the annual Remembrance Day service held at Town Hall in Caledon East.
There was a large crowd outside Town Hall in Caledon East Friday at 11 a.m. for a Remembrance Day service. Councillor Jennifer Innis read In Flanders Fields by John McCrae.

Palgrave area resident John Gregory served with the Royal Canadian Air Force 424 Squadron. He laid a wreath on behalf of his comrades.
Forks of the Credit resident Alice McMahon laid a wreath on behalf of the Women’s Royal Canadian Navy Service.
Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School student Peter Zarzecki played the Last Post at Friday’s service.
