Mayfield Secondary School

This 17-year-old plays sweeper for the varsity field hockey team, which has played two games so far. They played to a scoreless tie against Turner Fenton and dropped a 4-3 decision to St. Michael. She’s also planning to play rugby for the school in the spring. She’s been on the nordic skiing team, but won’t be this year. Away from school, she plays defence for the Brampton Canadettes. The Grade 12 student lives in Brampton.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School

This Grade 12 student is the quarterback for the school’s varsity flag football team. In the winter, she plays centre for the varsity hockey team and midfield on the varsity field lacrosse team. In the community, she plays forward for the Brampton Canadettes. The 17-year-old lives in Campbell’s Cross.

St. Michael Catholic Secondary School

This 17-year-old is on the school’s varsity field hockey team, playing left wing mid field. The squad has already posted a 4-3 victory over Mayfield. The team also finished third in a tournament in Stoney Creek. She also plays outdoor lacrosse at school. In the community, she plays forward in the Caledon Coyotes’ organization. The Grade 12 student lives in Bolton.

Humberview Secondary School

The Grade 11 student plays power on the senior boys’ volleyball team, which won four out of five games at a recent Mentor Tournament in Mississauga. He’s also planning to play fly half for the rugby team. Away from school, he plays rugby in the Markham Irish organization, on the travelling team for the Bolton Wanderers’ Soccer club and volleyball for Brampton Selects. The 16-year-old lives in Bolton.
