The Caledon East Revitalization Committee would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to the residents of Caledon for making the 2013 Valentine’s Masquerade Gala a huge and wonderful success.
In our third year, we have once again been fortunate to have a wonderful giving community. Feb. 15, 170 attendees had a wonderful dinner at the Royal Ambassador, and danced the night away to the Aaron Garner Band, lead by our handsome MC Paul James, host of Country Music Television. Our silent auction raised $4,207 and the raffle raised $1,380. Overall, we finished the evening making $17,229.25 to put directly back into revitalization projects in downtown Caledon East.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Danila and Lucy from Scotiabank, who contributed a donation of $2,500. We also acknowledge other local businesses and organizations who contributed to the success of this event — Aromatouch Day Spa, Caledon East Audio Visual, Caledon East Children’s Place Daycare, Caledon East Family Chiropractic, Caledon East and District Historical Society, Caledon JKA-Karate, Carusi’s Hair Salon, Core Solutions Physiotherapy and Wellness, Crumps Naturals, Hummingbird Flower and Gifts, the Prudential — Verona Teskey, Dalerose Homes, Brookfield Homes, Royal Bank, Dr. Sylvia King, Dufferin Glen Golf, Foodland, Glen Echo Nurseries, Gourmandissimo Catering and Fine Food Shop, Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn and Suites, In Key Music, Inspirations, Bloom Fashion Boutique, Log Home Dental, Mansfield Ski Club, Bolton Toyota, Merkley Design, POP Painting, Pete Paterson Photography, Rock Garden Farms, the Royal Ambassador, Town of Caledon, Yoga Shala Caledon, Royal Lepage RCR Realty, Stewart McGuire’s, Your Eye on Photo, 4Cats Art Studio, One King West Hotel, Erica Pratt, the Naked Vine, Urban Barnhouse, Via Trailers, Water Roots Day Spa, CIBC, Tom’s Family Restaurant, Automotive Maintenance, MD Professional Services, Crozier and Associates, and PharmaSave.
