The Roaring 20s were the main source of music recently at CrossCurrents Cafe in Bolton. Chris Woolley was leading things with his unique vocal and guitar styles. Carson Freeman, who plays for Michael Bublé, was over-the-top brilliant on sax, being inventive, expressive and technically stunning. Abbey Scholzberg brought along his stand-up bass. In his four appearances on the CrossCurrents stage, he has not only delivered his own mature, consummate bass work, but a wide range of top-flight musicians.
