Meaghan Zaremba . . . if you haven’t heard her name yet, don’t worry, you will come to recognize it. Meaghan is a Caledon resident who defied all odds after a devastating car accident when she was five in September 1986. She was determined to be in our world — and we should all be thankful she is.
Our Club was introduced to Meaghan through our Youth and Community giving programs. Our directors visited Tisho’s Music Academy where Meaghan operates Meaghan’s Music Room — a place for individuals with disability to express themselves through music. And what a wonderful visit it was!
To watch the transformation through music — the smiles, the piano playing, the singing and the dancing — is truly inspiring and something everyone should experience.
Through our giving programs, we were able to support Meaghan’s Room by sponsoring three months of programming and fully sponsoring the production of a CD containing inspirational music — all written and recorded by students at Tisho’s — that will be sold as a fundraising effort for Meaghan’s Room.
Through Rotary, we have now been graced with the light of Meaghan. The inspiration of Meaghan. And the love of Meaghan.
