There was a large turnout Friday night and early Saturday morning for the annual Relay for Life, held at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Students and other participants spent the night walking laps around the track at the school.

There was no shortage of participants out Friday night for the annual Relay for Life, in support of the canadian Cancer Society, at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in Caledon East. As usual, the event opened with cancer survivors and their families doing a victory lap.

Principal Tom Wisnicki observed a quarter of the student body was out for the walk that started Friday evening and went until 7 a.m. the following morning. “This says a lot about our school when one out of four in our school are out this evening,” he remarked.

Student Jenny McMahon opened the festivities by leading the singing of O Canada.
