Riverdale Fitness Mill in Inglewood will be holding their seventh annual fundraiser Oct. 26, with the proceeds going to Bethell Hospice.
“Bethell Hospice was the first recipient of our very first fundraising event,” observed Andre Leitert, owner of Riverdale Fitness.
The fundraising event will consist of a Halloween costume party Oct. 25, followed by a Fitness-Rehab day Oct. 26. It will consist of a group of back-to-back 30-minute classes in which members and nonmembers can participate. Participants will be collecting sponsorships for class participation with instructors donating their time, and proceeds will be going to Bethell Hospice.
“We have very involved community memberships who care about their community,” commented Tanya Nordin, a long-time Caledon resident and fitness instructor at Riverdale. “It’s a great time and cause and anticipate a lot of support for this great cause.”
“Over the years, we have as a Riverdale community been able to generate approximately $30,000 for very worthwhile community organizations,” Leitert added.
The Halloween Costume party is open to all but tickets are limited. The local band The Shift will be performing.
Riverdale Fitness Mill is at 104 Maple Ave. in Inglewood. For more details, go to www.riverdalefitnessmill.com or call 905-838-3236.
