Read digital magazines through public library

Caledon Public Library has announced its newest resource, digital magazines.
As of May, more than 80 magazine titles will be available free to anyone with a valid Caledon Public Library card.
This new e-resource will feature such popular magazines as Canadian Living, Consumer Reports, Elle, Men’s Health, Maclean’s and Rolling Stone; in other words, something for everyone. Readers can easily search for what they are passionate about, share with friends and save.
“No more waiting to check out the latest issue,” commented Chief Librarian Bill Manson, “all the subscriptions are available 24/7 with simultaneous access, so multiple people can access the same issue at the same time.”
Digital magazines can be read online from any computer, tablets or smartphones, or with the Zinio app on any Apple and Android devices.
“Another bonus is that the issues never have to be returned, so no overdue fines,” Manson added.
As well, patrons can still clip from their favourite magazines without any guilt, and the Library doesn’t have to worry about printed copies getting lost, damaged or destroyed.
