“Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, and I gotta go on that garden tour in July. Can’t help lovin’ that garden tour.”
And you’re sure to love the Nobleton-King City Horticultural Society’s garden tour too, so circle this Sunday (July 12) on your calendar and come out to see nine gardens scattered throughout the lush green countryside in the Nobleton and King City area, each not only beautiful, but different with interesting design and content.
Come rain or shine. This garden event is a go, running from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The $10 per visitor tickets with map showing garden locations are available now at Nobleton Pharmasave in Nobleton Plaza on Highway 27 north of King Road, Nobleton Feed Mill (not open Sundays) on Old King Road, across from Nobleton Community Hall off Highway 27, Guardian Drugs in the King Township offices plaza on King Road, just east of Keele Street in King City and Black Forest Garden Centre, one kilometre south of Aurora Road on Keele Street. Tickets will also be available Sunday at each garden on the tour. If you want to visit only one or two gardens without a ticket there is a charge of $2 per garden visited.
