New rector at St. James’ Church

The people of St. James’ Anglican Church, Caledon East, are delighted to announce the appointment of Rev. Canon J. Mark Tiller as their new Rector, effective Aug. 15.
Ordained in 1987, Tiller is a graduate of Trinity College, University of Toronto.
Before his appointment, he ministered in Port Colborne, Acton, Waterdown and Hamilton, all within the Anglican Diocese of Niagara. In addition to his parish responsibilities, Tiller has served in the Diocese of Niagara in many capacities, including as Regional Dean of Greater Wellington, Member of Synod Council, Member of the Diocesan Evangelism Committee and Certified Natural Church Development Coach.
The Celebration of New Ministry for Tiller, with Bishop Philip Poole officiating, will take place Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. at the church, at 6025 Old Church Rd. in Caledon East.
Sunday services are at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
