A local non-profit dedicated to helping sick and injured wildlife is hosting a fundraiser to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The National Wildlife Centre (NWC) recently launched its “10 for 10: Wildlife Anniversary Raffle” to support construction of its wildlife hospital that’s set to open early next year.

The raffle is being supported by generous contributions from sponsors Sport Chek Bolton, Mercato Fine Foods Bakery and Deli, and De Boers Market.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online at the following link: canadahelps.org/en/charities/national-wildlife-centre/events/10-for-10-wildlife-anniversary-raffle/

Single tickets are $5, five tickets are $20, and 15 tickets are $50.

The early bird draw for the raffle takes place tomorrow, December 20. The final draw for the raffle will take place on January 31, 2025.

Prizes include a YETI Rambler Straw Mug, gift basket from De Boers Market, and $30 gift card to Mercato Fine Foods Bakery and Deli, with more to come.

Prize winners will be contacted by phone and email to arrange prize delivery — prizes can only be delivered within the Caledon area; shipping is not available.

Founded in 2014, the NWC has cared for over 8,000 wild animals and over 200 different species, many of which are threatened or endangered.
