Meals on Wheels needs board members

Caledon Meals on Wheels (CMOW) is looking for candidates to replace board members who have reached the end of their terms.
The current board is welcoming, experienced and well established. It meets monthly from September to June as well as additional meetings as required. It is expected that each member participate on one committee and support the organization’s fundraising efforts. A commitment of approximately four to six hours per month is required.
The board is currently seeking applicants who have knowledge and skill in, but not limited to, financial management, legal issues, fundraising, policy development, governance, health and social service administration, human resources, community outreach and communications. They are also looking for individuals who represent under-serviced populations, reflect the diversity of the community and who have played leadership roles in local community groups, businesses or organizations.
This volunteer opportunity is subject to a criminal reference check.
