Man charged with suspended driving

A 29-year-old man from Orangeville was charged with driving while disqualified April 24.
Caledon OPP reports officers on patrol in the rea of Airport Road and Highway 9 noticed a westbound Mitsubishi Eclipse accelerate to a high speed through the intersection, so they pulled the car over east of Heart Lake Road. Police said the man driving the car produced the required documents, but the officers learned he was disqualified from driving.
The man was charged with driving while disqualified. The car was impounded for 45 days.
