Man charged with stunt driving on 410

A young man from Brampton faces driving and drug charges after an incident April 7 in the area of Highway 410 and Mayfield Road.
Caledon OPP reports a officer spotted beige Honda Accord going 142 km-h in a posted 90 zone. As well, the car was moving erratically as it approached an intersection, having to take evasive action to avoid a collision.
The 18-year-old was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and stunt driving. As well, when he was searched, the officer found a quantity of drugs, believed to be marijuana. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days as a result of the stunt driving charge.
