Man charged with stunt driving

A 19-year-old Caledon man was charged April 3 after a Caledon OPP officer caught a vehicle being driven at excessive on Shaw’s Creek Road.
Police report the Traffic Unit officer was conducting speed enforcement at about 7:20 p.m., and saw a GMC Sierra Pick-up travelling at what was determined to be 134 km-h in a posted 60 zone.
The driver was charged with racing a motor vehicle. The truck was impounded for seven days.
