Caledon residents will be updated on the recent studies to determine appropriate speeds on local roads.
The meeting will be this coming Wednesday (July 8) at Town Hall in Caledon East. It will be the cafeteria from 7 to 9 p.m.
The Town has retained the services of a consultant to review the existing speed limits to determine whether adjustments are required (increasing or decreasing).
The consultant used a methodology from the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) to set appropriate speed limits within town, based on characteristics such as road classification, lane width, pavement surfaces, etc.
The finding of the report will be presented at the meeting.
