Impressive lineup at ASK Festival

Change up your summer! Meet some famous people in and around King Township at one of the ASK Festival King tours or events.
On Tuesday, July 15, travel to Kleinburg and meet painter Lawren Harris through his paintings hanging at the McMichael Gallery. A guided tour with insights into the man himsel will be followed by lunch at the newly envisioned Cashew and Clive Cafe. A side trip to the grave site of Mr. Harris is also an option.
On Thursday, July 24 in Pottageville meet local sculptor Brett Davis and his mentor, William McElcheran through tales told by Davis with help from McElcheran’s widow. McElcheran is best-known for his “businessman” sculptures in downtown Toronto. Enjoy lunch at the Pathways To Perennials outdoor patio, followed by a self-guided tour of Davis’s sculptures and the surrounding gardens.
