A 49-year-old man from Brampton is facing charges after a Caledon OPP investigation into a single-vehicle collision on Airport Road Sept. 10.
Police report they were called to investigate a vehicle in a ditch between Perdue Court and Healey Road. They found a grey Nissan Altima in a ditch, with a child in the back seat.
They talked to the male driver a detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath.
He was charged with impaired driving, driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
His licence was suspended for 90 days on the spot and the car was impounded for seven days.
