For the seventh year in a row, Husky Injection Molding Systems is matching every dollar donated to the Caledon Community Services (CCS) Santa Fund, up to $25,000.
“Caledon Community Services makes a genuine difference in the lives of local families and Husky has always been a proud supporter of their work,” commented Michael McKendry, vice-president of corporate services and general counsel for Husky. “We encourage residents and other local businesses to give back to the community by contributing to the Santa Fund. Your generous contribution will positively impact families and children in need this holiday season.”
There are more than 200 families with in excess of 330 children in Caledon who need support. Husky and CCS are reaching out to businesses and residents and asking one and all to give generously to the 2015 Santa Fund.
“It is the community’s residents and business owners that drive the Santa Fund to success,” CCS CEO Monty Laskin remarked. “It is through our community’s support that hundreds of families celebrate the holidays and build hope for the year ahead. Having Husky in our corner is extraordinary; this company helps to bring Caledon together in the spirit of giving.”
Santa Fund donations can be made online at www.ccs4u.org or by contacting CCS Fundraising Assistant Nicole Dumanski at 905-584-2300 ext. 236 or ndumanski@ccs4u.org
Without a united community effort, there will be a shortfall that will make day-to-day living extremely difficult for many families in Caledon in the year ahead.
