Have input on fill bylaw

The town will be hosting an open house to get public input on proposed changes to its fill bylaw.
It will be Jan. 28, starting at 7 p.m. in the main foyer at Town Hall in Caledon East.
The Town is considering amendments regarding fill moratorium for applications in excess of 10,000 cubic metres until a Comprehensive Fill Bylaw is passed, a requirement that the applicant demonstrate the fill is for the purpose of improving the productivity of agricultural land of an existing agriculture operation, providing for an increase in the applicable fees and a requirement for securities on fill permits.
