GTA West CIP delayed

A Public Information Centre (PIC) slated for this month on the GTA West Corridor will not be taking place as planned.
Residents in the area have been informed the meeting on the GTA West Transportation Corridor Route Planning and Environmental Assessment Study is being delayed because the Ministry of Transportation needs more time for this complex study. The Ministry has promised to provide more material as it becomes available.
Mayor Allan Thompson commented there seems to be a lot of information still outstanding.
“It’s up in the air,” he said. “It will be interesting to see where this goes.”
