FTP to mark International Women’s Day

March 4, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Family Transition Place (FTP) will be hosting its fifth annual International Women’s Day Celebration Luncheon at the Best Western PLUS Orangeville Inn and Suites tomorrow (Friday).
Selling out in less than a month since its inaugural year, this event provides the more than 300 guests an opportunity to be inspired and rejuvenated with guest speaker Kelsey Ramsden.
Ramsden, Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneur two years running, will share her story on balancing career, kids, cancer and chaos while still achieving success in the workplace. A gourmet lunch will be served during the formal component of the event, and guests will have an opportunity to shop the Vendor Marketplace before and after.
This event is an important fundraiser for FTP, as it generates approximately $45,000 in revenue — funds that are needed to help FTP deliver essential programs and services to the community.
