Free French film showing will promote culture

June 5, 2014   ·   0 Comments

A group of teachers in Peel, called FrancoFuni, is inviting local youths and their parents to take in a screening of a French film June 14.
It will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at SilverCity Brampton in Trinity Common (near Bovaird Drive and Highway 410).
The movie will be Les Choristes, which deals with a music teacher at an orphanage during the Second World War who reaches the troubled kids through music.
The aim of the event is to promote French culture in the community.
The event is free, but preregistration is required. That can be done online at www.francofuni.c
