Fraud investigation leads to arrest

A 24-year-old man from Tiny Township faces charges after a Caledon OPP fraud investigation.
Police report they were contacted Aug. 27 to investigate a situation. Their investigation revealed that the suspect went to a Caledon home and used high-pressure sales tactics to convince the owner to provide him with a deposit for house painting. Through their investigation, police also learned that two other Caledon residents had been victimized by the same suspect.
The man was charged with three counts of fraud under $5,000.
