FIRE HALL OPEN HOUSE KICKS OFF FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

This is Fire Prevention Week, and Caledon Fire and Emergency Services kicked things off Saturday with a Pancake Breakfast and Open House at the Fire Hall in Bolton. Firefighter Mascot Sparky was on hand to greet everyone, including Jake Parkes, 2, of Caledon East and his stepmother Leah Publow.

The Bolton firefighters hosted a Pancake Breakfast at their station on Ann Street Saturday to mark the start of Fire Prevention Week, which runs from Oct. 9 to Oct. 15. Firefighters Mark Sutton and John Nail were busy at the grill.
Councillor Johanna Downey and her son Angus, 5, were being served by Firefighter Dave MacKey.
