The fall season is a special time to explore with family and friends.
Splashes of red, orange and yellow colour the treed landscape and highlight the beauty of nature. It’s the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy the crisp fresh autumn air at a local conservation area.
Join Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) for its first ever Fall Festival at Terra Cotta Conservation Area this month. The family-friendly event is taking place Saturdays in October. They will continue this coming Saturday and next Saturday (Oct. 22) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Take a trip to the park and enjoy food and refreshments, including beer from the Caledon Hills Brewery. Take in music and family entertainment in a beautiful fall setting. Explore trails by foot or take a wagon ride around the park. Children’s activities include face painting and games. Visit the pumpkin patch to purchase a Halloween pumpkin.
Enjoy Art in the Park sessions and guided photography hikes throughout the festival. Space is limited. Registration is required for these sessions which include free entry to the festival. To register for these sessions, visit cvcevents.ca
