A downed hydro pole Sept. 27 resulted in a 34-year-old Brampton resident being charged.
Caledon OPP reports the incident took place shortly after 7 p.m. at the intersection of King Street and Humber Station Road. Police arrived at the scene and found a grey 2010 Mazda 3 had left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck the pole, which ended up falling down. That resulted in power being lost in the surrounding area.
