Mayfield Secondary School Lauren Sansalone This 16-year-old has been making her contribution playing power on the senior girls’ volleyball team, which is undefeated in matches and tournament play so far this season. She said she used to play rep volleyball in the Georgetown Impact organization. The Grade 12 student lives in Brampton.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Holly Tremills This Grade 12 student plays power and setter on the varsity girls’ volleyball team. “We’re a strong team with great potential,” she said. She also played right forward on the field hockey team in the fall, and they made it to the finals. Away from school, she likes to swim. The 17-year-old lives in Shelburne.

St. Michael Catholic Secondary School Nicholas De Fazio This 17-year-old plays defence for the varsity hockey team, which is in first place with a 10-1 record. In the spring, he’s planning to play mid-field in outdoor lacrosse. In the community, he plays AA hockey in the Caledon Harks’ organization, and he used to play lacrosse for the Caledon Bandits. The Grade 12 student lives in Bolton.

This is her first experience with the sport. “It looked like fun,” she said. In the community, she swims and used to play house league soccer for the Bolton Wanderers. The 14-year-old lives in Bolton.
