CDS HAS NEW DINING HALL Students at The Country Day School near King City might want to have a banquet to celebrate, because they now have a place in which to hold it. The school has announced the opening of its new dining hall. Kim Sillcox, director of external communications at the school, reported they have been operating without a cafeteria or dining hall for 43 years. It is set up marché-style and offers some of the healthiest meal options imaginable (salad bar with quinoa, edamame, olives), grilled vegetable panini’s, eggplant rolls, and flank steak and corn on the cob. “Our students are eating incredibly balanced meals as a result,” she said.
