CADETS BRING HOME MEDALS FROM FRIENDLY EVENT
The Bolton Sea Cadets (RCSCC 253 Crescent ) recently took part in the annual Tri Sport and Swim competition, held in both Newmarket and Scarborough. This event was hosted by RCSCC Patriot, and has been taking place since 2008. The volleyball, basketball and floor hockey events were held in Newmarket, while the swimming was in Scarborough. This is a friendly event with the emphases on fun and friendship, although the medals were an added bonus. The Navy League Caledon Branch, along with two cadet parents and two RCSCC Crescent officers, were on hand to provide transportation, assistance and guidance through the events. The officers and Navy League members even got in on the action in Newmarket, by forming a team and taking on the Cadets from various Corps in a friendly match.
