The Bolton Brewers will be facing the Aurora Jays for the championship in the North Dufferin Baseball League (NDBL).
The league has announced the best-of-seven affair begins this Saturday (Sept. 7) at Aurora, starting at 2 p.m. Game two will follow Sunday (Sept. 8) at 2 p.m. in Bolton.
The third game is set for Bolton next Thursday (Sept. 12) at 7:30 p.m. with the fourth scheduled for Sept. 15 in Aurora at 2 p.m.
If a fifth game is necessary, it will be Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Bolton, with the sixth game planned for Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. in Aurora and a seventh game for Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. in Bolton.
Bolton and Aurora last met in the championship in 2010, when the Brewers beat the Jays in four games. Bolton is on the hunt for their fifth consecutive Strother Cup.
In opening rounds of the playoffs, the Brewers have been strong, sweeping both the Ivy Leafs and New Lowell Knights in three games.
In comparison, the Jays have battled in their first two rounds going the distance with five-game series against the Clearview Orioles and Orillia Majors.
