BIA’s Midnight Madness returns to Bolton Friday

There’s going to be lots of Madness in the Bolton valley tomorrow (Friday) night.
The local Business Improvement Area (BIA) is putting on its annual Midnight Madness.
It will run from 5 p.m. until midnight, and BIA President Jimmy Pountney said it will feature many of the attractions from previous years, including a live petting zoo, inflatable obstacle courses, displays by the local police and fire department, street performers, music and entertainment, and “tons of food vendors and retail vendors.”
Queen Street North will be closed at 4 p.m. between King and Mill Streets.
The main stage will be set up at the north end of the grounds (at Mill Street, and Pountney reported the schedule of entertainment there will include the Bob Parkins Trio at 6 p.m., Bardos-Chicago at 7, The Jud Jam Band (featuring Mellanie) at 8, New Bloodline at 9, New City Guns at 10 and Organized Chaos at 11.
With all the preparations that goes into a show like this, Pountney said the main thing he’s looking forward to is, “Great weather. It’s always going to be the answer for me. Sunshine and lots of people.”
