Caledon OPP reports a 34-year-old man from Brampton turned himself in Aug. 23 in connection with a pair of break-ins that occurred in Bolton in June 2011.
The first incident was June 2, when someone smashed the front door glass of a business and stole money from the cash register. The second incident occurred the following night. This time the business was entered by prying open the rear door. Money and business-related products were stolen in this instance.
During the investigation, the Street Crime Unit of the detachment was advised that samples taken from the scene of the crimes had been successfully matched.
The suspect has been arrested and charged with break and enter, theft and mischief under $5,000.
