For those who are interested in an apprenticeship opportunity or who are looking to hire an apprentice, Jobs Caledon at Caledon Community Services has a workshop for them.
It will be at the Royal Courtyards in Bolton today (Thursday), and will feature a guest speaker seminar on Apprenticeship Programs from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
A guest speaker from the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU) will be offering a presentation on apprenticeship programs. MTCU administers Ontario’s apprenticeship programs under the legislation of the OCTAA (Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act).
Apprenticeship programs provide wonderful opportunities for workers and employers, however few people are familiar with the programs and what they offer. The labour market continues to demand skilled workers and this program offers access to well-paying jobs.
Attend this seminar to get the needed information about apprenticeship training and employment.
Book a seat by contacting Jobs Caledon, 905-584-2300, ext. 200 or jobs@ccs4u.org
