Jiffy Lube Oilers used a balanced attack to edge George’s Arena Sports 4-3 last Monday at Don Sheardown Memorial Arena in a Caledon Senior Hockey League game.
In other CSHL action, Rutherford Global Logistics reclaimed first place from Bolton Chiropractic Centre by downing the Bone-twisters 8-5 and Yale Industrial Trucks clipped Fines Ford Lincoln 6-3 to close in on the pack.
Jiffy Lube 4, George’s 3
Nine players from Jiffy Lube made the score sheet in the win.
Luch Pinarello provided a goal and an assist while Tony Dinis, Marty Madensky and Mike McNamara scored the other goals. Jim Moyer chipped in two assists with singles from Rich Petrie, team sponsor Brian Fetterly, Robert Masutti and Dom Orazio.
Ron Sampson, Rick Geiger, Maurizo Giorgio and Bill Moyer scored for George’s. Joe Lamkin had two assists while Jim Rogers and Dave Livingston had one each.
Rutherford 8, Bolton Chiropractic 5
Jim Horan led the Rutherford attack with four goals and one assist.
Bernie Tisdale scored a goal and added two assists while Ted Callighen notched four assists. Peter Coghill and James Heenan each had a goal and an assist. Bob McHardy scored the other goal. Dom Spignasi was in brackets twice while Gary Hoxey and Dave Boyd had single assists.
Rick Agar was the big shooter for the Chiropractors with two goals and an assist along with Dave Armstrong, who had a goal and two assists. John Crossley and team sponsor Mike Shore both notched a goal and an assist. Single assists went to Gary Stewart, Jeff Boyles, Larry Pevato and Bruno Fracassi.
Yale 6, Fines Ford 3
Garth Young and Nick Taccogna had their wheels moving for Yale with a two goals and an assist each.
Steve Tarasco was the top point-man with a goal and three assists. Tony Calabro scored the other goal. Dan Tasson set up two goals and Randy Freitag had one assist.
Dan Labine led the Fines crew with a goal and an assist. Team rep Ian Kerr and John Pallotta scored the other goals. Single assists went to Dom Ierullo, Mike Gasparini, Jack Gibson, Frank McKay and Rod Sinclair.
